When we bought our house, Phillip’s music room was the first room that I wanted to design and decorate. In the past, Phillip’s music room got all the hand-me-down furniture. He never had a creative space like this before, and I wanted to ensure it was perfect for him. It was important to me for him to have a space where he could escape to work on writing, and showcase his awards and guitars. I’m so proud of him for working incredibly hard to make a living off of doing what he loves to do. Phillip’s music room may be a place of work, but for him, it’s also a place of creativity.
Many of our favorite statement pieces in this room are thoughtful gifts from amazing people in our lives. The decorations are reminders of all the incredible people we surround ourselves with and the thoughtful gifts from those loving friends.
Our sweet assistant saw on my Instagram that I wanted one of these signs, but they were too expensive and I refused to buy it. She ended up surprising me by making me this one for my birthday. I absolutely love it. I have no clue how she did it but I am impressed!
Phillip’s guitar techs made this case together for a birthday surprise. One of their sweet wifes, free handedly burned “Sweet” into the case. Not only was it thoughtful, but it also goes perfectly with the decor of the room.
It wouldn’t be a home in Nashville without a little musical flair, right??
Happy Friday Friends!
